On December 2, 1949, the Fourth Meeting of the Committee of the Central People's Government adopted a resolution which states: "The Committee of the Central People's Government hereby declares that since 1950, October 1, the great day on which the People's Republic of China was proclaimed, has been the National Day of the People's Republic of China."
This is the origin of determining October 1 as the "birthday" of the People's Republic of China, that is, the "National Day".
From 1950 onwards, every year in October 1st, the Chinese people of all ethnic groups celebrated the festival.
It is one of the most anticipated festivals of the Chinese people. Many people will choose to travel during this holiday.
